Paypal domestic payments in India
PayPal as a value added payment aggregator has launched domestic payment platform in India. PayPal has been in India for over 10 years and till now online merchants could only accept payments form overseas buyers but now they can sell to Indian shoppers as well.
This is a great news for Indian online sellers as PayPal is the world’s leading payment gateway service provider. Customers using PayPal don’t have to enter their credit/debit card information and the checkout process is highly secure and faster.
PayPal will offer features like One Touch payments, 180-day resolution window and Buyer & Seller Protection. Merchants will get access to PayPal’s 200 million plus customers around the world and in India through a single integration.
Many Indian websites like Makemytrip, Voonik, PVR etc. have already started accepting payments using PayPal and more websites are likely to join in the coming months.
An international favorite with over 200 million users, PayPal also plans to launch value-added services like credit and working capital loans for online sellers.
